By making a reservation with rentalspuertopollensa.com the client accepts the following
‘Terms and Conditions’:
1. Activity and services of Rentals Puerto Pollensa.
Rentals Puerto Pollensa (RPP) offers the mediation of third-party services on the website, namely direct contracts with the owners of holiday properties and the client, therefore, only acts as an intermediary between the two.
2. Booking process
The rental contract with the owner and the client comes into effect upon receipt of the booking confirmation email (declaration of acceptance). For the confirmation of your reservation a Non-refundable deposit must be paid. A second instalment may be required, and the due date for payment of the balance will vary depending on the property being reserved. The payment terms for each property will be explained by email before booking.
If a payment is not made in the time stipulated, your reservation will be cancelled. The vacation home will appear available for all purposes in accordance with the contract and there is no contractual or legal right of retention by the client.
3. Property preferences and types
Please pay special attention to the property’s description. It is the client’s responsibility that the property will be suitable for their requirements and standards. The client shall note the number of persons specified in the description. Special requirements must be communicated directly to RPP prior to arrival.
4. Prices / offers
The valid prices for a reservation will always be those published on the website at the time of the reservation. RPP reserves the right to publish last minute offers without prior notice and at its convenience, so the client will not be able to demand any kind of
discount or reduction after the confirmation of the reservation.
5. Responsibilities
Although RPP checks periodically the good functioning of the equipment of each property; this depends ultimately on the owner. RPP is not responsible for the malfunctioning of appliances, heating, air conditioning, swimming pool, Internet, etc. If the client detects any malfunction, he/she should contact RPP immediately, so that the owner can solve the malfunction as soon as possible. However, it must be taken into account that it is necessary that some time elapses between the detection of the
problem and its solution.
The good use of the property including the objects inside the property such as appliances, furniture, etc. and outside such as swimming pool, parasols, etc. will be the responsibility of the client. The client accepts to use of the property and communal
areas with respect and in accordance with the Community Rules displayed in the property (if applicable), avoiding noise during the night and other unacceptable behaviour.
The tenant is liable for any damaged goods, damage to the property or damage to anything else related to the property, whether caused by themselves or their accompanying party or visitors.
6. Force majeure
RPP is not responsible for possible modifications in case of force majeure such as
pandemic, epidemic, strike, war, earthquakes, electricity or water cuts, storms, works
near the property and other circumstances not foreseeable at the moment of the
reservation.
7. Tourist tax
We inform that, since July 2016, is legally in force a new tax on tourism in the Balearic Islands, this "Tourist Tax" / "Ecotasa" is not included in the price and must be paid separately. The prices can be altered by season and year, and will depend on if there is an update of the "Govern de les Illes Balears".
8. Arrival and departure times
Arrival from 16:00 PM. Departure time is 10:00 AM or before.
If there is no other tenant waiting for the apartment or leaving it, it may be possible to arrange an early arrival or late departure time. Please contact RPP to make your request.
9. Cleaning
The property will be cleaned, and beds prepared with linen in preparation for your arrival. One bath and one hand towel per person will also be provided. End of stay cleaning is included in the rental price unless specially mentioned in the description.
Please take all your rubbish out to the street bins and do the washing up before departure.
10. Legal jurisdiction
This rental agreement is governed by the laws of Spain and both parties agree that any dispute, matter or other issue arising will be dealt with by the Courts of Inca Both parties hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms of this rental agreement
